The documentary 'Uit 't leven' by Henk Burger and Tim Dekkers is about suicide in the LGBTQ+ community. The film follows the lives of three people from this community who once had suicidal thoughts and attempted suicide. According to the makers, talking about suicidal thoughts is still too little open for discussion within the community. Nearly half of LGBTIQ+ people have had suicidal thoughts at some point, and about eight percent have actually attempted suicide.
