The Finnish Film Foundation has awarded €6.3 million in production support to nine new projects, including Never Alone by director Klaus Härö, set during the 1942 war, which received €800,000. Jenni Toivoniemi's Butterfly, a modern comedy about a father and daughter trying to reunite at a summer tango festival, received €850,000. Other projects include Arto Halonen's After Us, the Flood, and four features that received production support as part of the 50/50 scheme.
