Fremantle has acquired a majority stake in Belgian production company A Team Productions (ATP), led by Kobe van Steenberghe and Hendrik Verthé. With the acquisition, Fremantle wants to strengthen its position in the Belgian scripted market and invest in the growth of its international scripted portfolio. ATP has an impressive track record with blockbusters such as Patsers and Torpedo and the recently launched Ketnet series Kids on the Block.
