Film producer Frans van Gestel has personally won four Golden Calves and even more as a company. However, he has a love-hate relationship with prizes. Van Gestel discovered the magic of the film world when he worked on the set of De Zomer van '45 as a teenager. He discovered that he thrived on production work and started to be an entrepreneur.
