Het Beloofde Land is a new development and production project of Screen Talent NL, which aims to strengthen the film production and infrastructure in the region. On February 14, the names of filmmakers and producers were announced in Leeuwarden who will develop film plans in the coming months in the provinces of Drenthe, Groningen, Friesland, Limburg and North Brabant.

In the coming months, producers and filmmakers will start developing 16 screenplays. Ultimately, 3 short films and 2 mid-length films will be produced, which will be shown from autumn 2024. With Het Beloofde Land, Screen Talent NL makes a strong contribution to the diversity and inclusiveness of the Dutch film sector by serving as a springboard and bridge for a large group of regional makers.
