Twelve cities from all over the world are reviewed in City Life, the monster project of filmmakers and initiators Dirk Rijneke and Midred Van Leeuwaarden, who invited a number of internationally renowned filmmakers, from Mrinal Sen (Calcutta) to Béla Tarr (Budapest), from Carlos Reichenbach (Sao Paulo) to Ousmane M'Baye (Dakar).
