Belgian directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have officially withdrawn their film Rebel from the selection of the Iranian film festival Fajr. The filmmakers make this known in a statement on Instagram. El Arbi and Fallah want to show that they do not tolerate the Iranian regime.
