This week the shooting of the new Dutch family film Jippie No More! Makers are the team behind the well-received television series Lampje, director Margien Rogaar and production house Juliet.
In Yippee No More! Sixteen-year-old Jaap Peter (Wesley van Klink) falls in love for the first time during preparations for his older sister's wedding. Jaap Peter has Down syndrome. However, when the girl of his dreams turns out to be attracted to his younger sister, Jaap Peter is no longer in the mood for the party. Until he realizes that without him it won't work.
