The Netherlands Institute for the Classification of Audiovisual Media (NICAM) has deemed the 2002 children's film Pietje Bell suitable for children from the age of nine. The institute, which determines the Kijkwijzer, has adjusted the age rating of the film after complaints about some scenes.
