In the second round of Cinescoop, the feature film Joe Speedboot has been selected for a realization contribution. In terms of quality and ambition, the refreshing idiosyncrasy of the film plan and the creative talent of the team involved seamlessly match the objective of Cinescoop. The Film Fund expects that Joe Speedboot, based on the successful novel by Tommy Wieringa, has the potential not only to find a wide audience in the Netherlands, but also to distinguish itself internationally.
