At the International Short Film Festival Leuven, the VAF Wildcards were awarded for the 18th time, the annual prizes for the best final projects at Flemish film schools. The winners of the VAF Wildcards 2022 are Michael Abay, Evi Cats, Julie Verstraten and Brahim Tall. With a total value of 200,000 euros, the VAF Wildcards are the largest film prizes in the country and a springboard to a career as a professional filmmaker.
