Anyone present at the World Conference of Screenwriting in Copenhagen could not ignore it: the arrival of streaming services has forever changed the media landscape and the field of work for screenwriters. This was the recurring theme of the two-day event, in which screenwriters from all over the world discussed their working methods, the business aspects of the profession and the changing role of writers in the creative process. Plot Magazine was there, together with a large group of screenwriters from our country. As one of the organizers joked: “There are more Dutch here than Danes.”
