On Thursday, Cinekid Festival awarded the prizes for the best films, series, games and apps of 2022 for children. This year the award for the Best Children's Film was presented to Yuku and the Himalayan Flower by directors Rémi Durin and Arnaud Demuynk. The stop motion film Knor won the Cinekid Lion for the Best Dutch Children's Film and the telefilm Matties was awarded the special Youth Jury Award.
