The film Narcosis is submitted on behalf of the Netherlands for the Academy Awards, in the International Feature Film category. The 95th Oscars ceremony is on March 12. In Narcosis, the debut film by director Martijn de Jong and written together with Laura van Dijk, a family is disrupted when the father of the family (Fedja van Huêt) fails to surface after a professional dive.
