Compilations of Joop Geesink's animated films can be seen on the Eye Film Player in the coming months. Geesink founded a film studio in 1942 that made hundreds of commercials: well-made puppet animation films under the name Dollywood and live-action films under the name Starfilm. The size of the studio was unprecedented within the modest Dutch film industry.
