Like many Film Academy alumni, Floor van Lissa fell into the infamous black hole after graduating. The networking that is always so emphasized did not suit her. She first wanted to know what she could do for herself as a writer. The Free Space from the Film Fund and a place in the writing team of the youth program Pussjes gave her the opportunity to fly hours and gave her space for personal creative development. Perhaps it was the combination of idiosyncrasy and craftsmanship that attracted the attention of producer Edwin Goldman, who was looking for a writer to develop his idea for a film in the world of food vloggers.
