The Great Sinterklaas Film: Trammelant in Spain has been seen by more than 100,000 cinemagoers. Director Lucio Messercola's family film has been awarded the Golden Film. In The Great Sinterklaas Film: Trammelant in Spain, Sinterklaas is advised by Robert ten Brink, who follows in the footsteps of the late Bram van der Vlugt. Robert ten Brink and Martien Meiland have received this year's tenth Golden Film Award. The Golden Film Award is an initiative of the Netherlands Film Festival and is supported by the Netherlands Film Fund and the Abraham Tuschinski Fund.
