Bert Ostyn, singer and author/composer of the Belgian band Absynthe Minded, composed the music for the Belgian-Turkish film 'Turquaze' by Kadir Balci, a production by Dirk Impens (including De maarheid der alles, Code 37, Katarakt, ...) in co-production with the Turkish Gu-film. It is Bert's first film score. For 'Turquaze' he composed a string quartet, played by Spiegel String Quartet, but he was also inspired by authentic world music.
