The makers of The Battle of the Scheldt are "hugely disappointed" that the war film is not the Dutch entry for the Oscars. Earlier this month it was announced that another war film, Do Not Hesitate, had been chosen by the Dutch Oscar Selection Committee (NOSC). This committee includes representatives from associations and organizations from the film industry.
