On Pentecost, the shoot of the family film Berend Botje started at Landal Esonstad in Anjum. The film is about the adventures of the well-known skipper family from the children's song, now spanning three generations. The Botje family consists of Thomas Acda as grandfather Berend, Klaas van Kruistum as father Berend and the youngest in the Berend Botje line; 11-year-old Doris Zuijderland, who makes her feature film debut with this role.
