The new Central series collects six stories from promising makers that start and end at Rotterdam Central Station. In the third episode, directed by Jamille van Wijngaarden, a stray dog is driven out of the station and thus comes under the care of the tough asylum owner Noa. Van Wijngaarden: “I wanted to explore that bond between humans and animals, between hardness and vulnerability.”
