Last night the World Soundtrack Awards were presented for the 19th time in Ghent. The central guest this year was Marco Beltrami. Brussels Philharmonic led by Dirk Brossé played a very diverse selection from Beltrami's repertoire. We were also treated to music by Tamar-Kali, who won the Discovery of the Year Award last year. Two Lifetime Achievement Awards have also been presented. One for the Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki and one for our own Frédéric Devreese.
