The Film Academy's final exam films always attract the most attention, but students at other academies also graduate with films. Such as at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Off the record, students complain about the lack of enthusiasm and stimulation from teachers. Should art academies encourage idiosyncrasy, rebelliousness and the urge to experiment?
