The Annecy International Animation Film Festival took place in France from June 10 to 15. Annecy is one of the most important animation film festivals in the world, and five Dutch (co)productions were selected: Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles by Salvador Simo, Intermission Expedition by Wiep Teeuwisse, animation series Vos en Haas by Tom van Gestel and Mascha Halberstad , Fraud – Dieselgate by Roman Klochkov and Anna Heuninck and Flow by Adriaan Lokman. In addition, in the category The Big Sleep, the recently deceased Dutch artist Rosto was honored with the screening of two of his short animated films: Reruns (2018) and Jona/Tomberry (2005).
