The animated film Catastrophe by Jamille van Wijngaarden has been selected as a Staff Pick Premiere by Vimeo. The film will have its worldwide online premiere today, exclusively on the online platform. This release follows a triumphant march of the short film through more than a hundred international film festivals. The 'Ultrakort' film has also been sold to the United States, Japan, England and Spain, among others. Catastrophe tells the story of cat Rodney who, when a seemingly innocent parakeet suddenly lies dead in its cage, feels all eyes on him. He desperately tries to save the day, but from here on out things really go wrong.
