Huub Stapel is not happy with RTL 7, because they play the film Amsterdamned at an accelerated rate, which makes the voices sound different. "Dick sent me a message that evening that the channel was playing the films too fast again, making us sound half an octave higher. That is really terrible to hear, those half-child voices," says the actor. Stapel states that it does not show respect for the maker of the film. "Something has been said about it so many times, but apparently they think: it will rot us as long as it moves."
