Director Miriam Guttmann has just returned from the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival, where she won prizes for The Seed of Karbaat, her documentary about fertility doctor Jan Karbaat. She is now working on a three-part series about Karbaat, who fathered at least 49 children with his clients with his own sperm. The three-part series is developed in collaboration with the VPRO and produced by De Familie Film & TV. It is not yet known when the series will be shown.
