The 39th edition of the Dutch Film Festival opens on Friday, September 27, 2019 with INSTINCT, the directorial debut of Halina Reijn. The psychological thriller about an experienced psychologist who, despite her expertise, becomes obsessed with a sex offender, will premiere in the presence of protagonists Carice van Houten and Marwan Kenzari. Both actors enjoy international fame and will make an appearance at the festive red carpet premiere in Stadsschouwburg Utrecht. Topkapi Films produced INSTINCT and Halina Reijn and Carice van Houten initiated and co-produced the film with their company Man Up.
