The trade associations of operators and distributors - the NVBF and FDN - are organizing a new conference on the future of the film sector. During the two-day conference, the organization gives professionals their say about the future of the film sector in the Netherlands. Speakers include Patrick von Sychowski, initiator of the website Celluloid Junkie, Laura Houlgatte, from UNIC, the Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Pablo Carerra from IHS Markit Technology, Carmen Slijpen from Depot cinema and Vanessa Bakewell from Facebook. The New Cinema conference will take place on October 30 and 31. The venue is once again Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam.
