The Dutch Film Fund and the Prince Bernhard Cultural Fund started OASE in 2013, a sanctuary that can be requested by independent documentary directors to develop film plans for long documentaries with cinematographic quality. OASE stimulates the development of so-called treatments - the shortened version of a script. On this basis, the documentary maker can work in collaboration with a producer on the further development and possible realization of the documentary. Eight documentary makers will each receive a contribution of €8,000.
