The family film My special strange week with Tess won the prize for Best Screenplay at the Goldener Spatz Film Festival in Erfurt, Germany on Friday. Screenwriter Laura van Dijk accepted the prize: "This is really the icing on the cake! I had so much fun writing this film. I wouldn't have dared to dream that we would subsequently win all those prizes. It feels like one big party." Producer Joram Willink adds: "The film festival in Erfurt is the largest film festival for German youth films. It is therefore special that we were selected for the competition with this Dutch-German film.
