Gerard Timmer, director of the NOS since last year, makes it clear that he is done with whining and complaining about public broadcasting. In an interview with Het Parool he says that issues only come from Hilversum. “Too little money, programs that are too expensive, presenters who earn too much. All hassle. Let's show that we are significant as a public broadcaster. Let's tell a story that gives energy instead of sucks energy.”
