Two projects with Dutch co-production partners each received an amount of €50,000 in the context of the NFF + HBF Co-Production Scheme. This is Shanghai Youth by the Chinese filmmaker Wang Bing, who was selected for HBF Script and Development in 2014. Many of his previous films were also supported by HBF. His most recent film, Mrs. Fang, was shown at IFFR 2018. The other NFF+HBF selection, Anatomy of Time by Thai filmmaker Jakrawal Nilthamrong, received project development support from the HBF in 2017. Nilthamrong's films were also often supported by the HBF. His last film, Vanishing Point, won a Tiger Award at IFFR 2015.
