Actor Peer Mascini has died at the age of 78. He died after a short illness. Mascini starred in many Dutch films, such as De Lift, Filmpje, Het 14de Kippetje and Moordwijven. In 1996 he received a Golden Calf for his role in the film Blind Date. Mascini has also appeared in various theater productions, including at Werktheater, Carver and Hauser Orkater.
