Two animated productions specially made for television have been selected for the Official Competition of the International Animated Film Festival in Annecy (10-15 June): Birthday from the Fox and Hare series and The County Fair from the Panic in the Village series. The commissioned Fraud: Dieselgate by Roman Klochkov and Anna Heuninck and the Flemish co-production Marona's Fantastic Tale are also on the program in Annecy. This year the festival will pay extensive attention to Beast Animation, the Mechelen animation studio that is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
