Director Charlie Kessler, who previously claimed that the makers of the popular Netflix series Stranger Things stole the idea for the series from him, has dropped his case. The case was scheduled to start on Tuesday, but less than two days before the start, Kessler announced that he was canceling it. In a statement published by The Hollywood Reporter, he said that Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer "created the show completely independently."
