The film BAANTJER HET BEGIN has been awarded a Golden Film and has attracted 100,000 cinema visitors. Lead actor Waldemar Torenstra was festively surprised with the award by his colleague Tygo Gernandt on Saturday morning in the heart of the Jordaan. The film awards are an initiative of the Dutch Film Festival and the Dutch Film Fund. BAANTJER THE BEGIN is the third film to achieve Golden Film status this year.
