Monic Hendrickx can also be seen in The Promise of Pisa, the film based on the book of the same name by Mano Bouzamour. She plays the mother of IJsbrand, who is played by Thor Braun. The first part of the film was shot last fall. Filming for the second part will start next week. It was previously announced that Olivia Lonsdale, rapper Sjaak and Nora El Koussour have roles in the film, which will be in cinemas from October 10. The leading roles are played by Shahine El Hamus and Yorick van Wageningen.
