This year, Het Ketelhuis in the capital is again the setting for the Spring Consultation, the debate evening in which leading extras from the Dutch film world discuss the most important issues. Everyone is welcome again on Monday, May 27. The Dutch film world is experiencing turbulent times. While the number of feature films produced is growing, attendance extras are declining. This is soon followed by a call for action from the Film Fund. Are the wrong films supported? Is there already a master plan in the making to turn the tide? Outgoing Film Fund director Doreen Boonekamp can come and talk about it at the upcoming Spring Consultation. She will also look back on her period on the board. Maybe she has the name of her successor as a scoop.
