As of August 1, TV viewers will no longer be able to tune into the linear channels Film1 Premiere, Film1 Family, Film1 Action and Film1 Drama. The film provider will stop linear television entirely. Film1 confirms this to NU.nl after reporting from TotaalTV. The Film1 brand will continue to exist, but only as a Netflix-like streaming service. The channel confirms that it is also discontinuing its OTT service, which allows consumers to order specific films on demand.
