The most coveted prize, the Silver Scream Award, has been awarded to the zombie comedy One Cut of the Dead. The pitch for Extraction (by Martijn Smits) was "exciting and convincing" and "the story was well told with plausible commercial possibilities". Due to the environmentally critical aspects, Imagine expects that the project will also have international potential – especially in the North American markets.
