In 2018, Flemish productions and co-productions attracted more than 2.2 million visitors to Belgian cinemas, an increase of 38% compared to the 1.7 million visitors in 2017. Flemish television broadcasters broadcast 94 Flemish feature films and 23 short films last year. and 21 VAF or Screen Flanders-supported series.
