On behalf of the Dutch local public broadcasters, the NLPO has concluded a new agreement with Buma/Stemra for the payment for music use. The multi-year agreement runs until 2025 and will come into effect retroactively in 2018. The negotiations involved working with the cooperation and coordination body of the Regional Public Broadcasting (RPO), which also had to renew their contract. An important advantage is that there is now a clear calculation method for local and regional broadcasters.
