The public broadcaster is working on a unique experiment: a new, daily drama series of 25 episodes of 45 minutes each in the early evening of flagship NPO 1. The thriller series will be broadcast next year in the summer lull. The NPO does not want to say anything about the content yet, but insiders speak of an exciting family drama in which a murder must be solved. The plot has a head and a tail, so it is not a 'soap opera'. "The series is intended for the evening and tells a completed story in 20 to 25 episodes," can be read in a document in the possession of this site, in which the NPO challenged the Dutch producers last year with the best substantive proposal to knock on.
