Meriem Bennani has been declared the winner of the Eye Art & Film Prize 2019. At 31 years old, the Moroccan multimedia artist is the youngest winner of the prize to date. The Eye Art & Film Prize, which carries a prize of £25,000, is one of the largest art prizes in the world and is intended for an artist or filmmaker who operates at the intersection between visual art and film.
