The Dutch Film Fund is launching the Film Theater Screening Scheme pilot, whereby film theaters can be rewarded for showing home-grown films. Under the new scheme, film theaters that show a Dutch feature film, documentary or long animated film will receive a €0.25 subsidy for each ticket sold for that film. With the scheme, the Film Fund wants to encourage film theaters to show and continue to show Dutch films.
