Dana Linssen is stepping down as editor-in-chief of De Filmkrant. She was the head of the Netherlands' largest independent film magazine for more than twenty years. She will be succeeded by Ronald Rovers. Linssen will remain associated with De Filmkrant as a writer and coach. “Every story – about a film, an actor or a genre – has to be retold every seven years. There is then a new generation of readers who do not yet know the story. But the world in which that story functions is also seven years older, which means you can or perhaps even have to tell it in a different way.”
