The Netherlands Film Production Incentive contributes to an increase in investments in the Dutch film industry. The annual Monitor*, which was carried out over the period July 2014 to December 2018, shows that the 318 productions that received a financial contribution amounted to €374.9 million in production expenditure in the Netherlands. For every euro awarded, an average of €4.52 is spent on production costs in the Netherlands. 192 projects (60%) are realized in international collaboration.
