Marina Meijer's graduation film, the short documentary Cargo, was about an oil rig in the middle of the North Sea. Before that she made Water on Shore, a short film about a young skipper's son at a reformed skipper's boarding school. In between, she spent a while in a hotel with all the Polish men, and in recent months she shot a documentary all by herself in a Rotterdam transformation center for at-risk boys.
