Eric de Kuyper (1942) worked at the Film Museum between 1988 and 1992, where, together with the late director Hoos Blotkamp and Film Museum programmer Peter Delpeut (1988-1995), he breathed a breath of fresh air into the museum, which at the time still mainly operated as an archive. He possessed unusual versatility as an erudite film teacher, writer, director and programmer. Eye recently restored six films by Eric de Kuyper and will pay tribute to the former deputy director of the Film Museum from 8 to 10 February.
